MMS is a two year program affiliated to the University of Mumbai. In a short time of two years, the MMS program from DSIMS has emerged as truly exceptional. The MMS is a two year program, organized around four semesters, spread across two years. To help bring all students to a common and level playing field, DSIMS offers a two week long Boot Camp that focuses on basics of Finance, Quantitative Techniques, Communication Skills, Use of office productivity tools like Excel, Word and Power Point.

The Boot camp orients the students to the case based learning methodology and the efficient use of internet for secondary data in research.

The course is trifurcated into three categories - A core set of 22 courses, Majors - a set of five to seven subjects in the specialization area and a set of three to four electives within each specialization. 

The first two semesters in year one are based on a structured series of 22 core courses. These courses cover key management disciplines, and the business ecosystem. To become a global manager, students can choose a foreign language as a part of their curriculum. 

The second year of the program has two components. A core of five to seven courses relevant to each specialization and a set of three to four electives focusing on deep domain expertise.

Basic Eligibility

Should have passed Bachelors Degree examination in any faculty from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA before the commencement of the program.

Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree examination in any faculty from a UGC recognized University. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the degree examination with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA. However such students submits the proof of passing the examination with required percentage on or before September 25, 2016, failing which the admission offered to them will stand cancelled automatically and the fees paid by them will be forfeited.
